This device adapts
a standard RS232 serial cable into a NUON controller port cable, allowing
anything with a serial interface to connect to NUON. A device like this
would allow much faster debugging for homebrew development, but a few
things would need to happen before that was possible, like the adapter
would need to be reverse engineered, polyface chips are needed and a shell
application would need to be written, assuming that at least one available
NUON player with joystick ports has support for the adapter build into
the BIOS.
